United pilots reject contract be offering as they push for raises


CHICAGO (AP) — United Airways pilots have overwhelmingly rejected a tentative contract, the most recent transfer appearing the unravel through airline unions to push for vital pay raises.

The deal would have given pilots raises of just about 15% over 18 months, consistent with the union.
